Connections Local Foods Market

Connections Local Foods Market will evolve into a Fresh Market Shared Services Cooperative, provided there is community support. 

We will establish a healthy foods co-operative that will give local citizens access to reasonably priced healthy foods while increasing markets for local farmers.

The co-operative will carry bakery items, bulk foods, vegetables, fruits, eggs, dairy products, meat products, whole grains, seeds, seedlings, herbs, spices, flours, maple syrup, jellies, jams and some agriculturally related crafts such as candles, fiber arts, and wood crafts, etc.

The Co-operative will continue to work with local farmers to create a local distribution network and serve as the distribution coordinator.  As part of Connections Local Foods Market we will also create an ‘R’ CSA (Regional Community Supported Agriculture) Program called Connections Farm Shares. With the Connections Farm Shares program, we will implement an “Adopt a Family Program” using CSA Shares that are donated.
