Reiki Therapy

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle hands-on healing technique. The words come from two Japanese words, Rei meaning Universal force or spiritual intelligence and Ki meaning Life Energy. Thus, Reiki is spiritually guided life force energy. Simply put, Reiki is the channeling of Universal Energy (life force) for healing. This Healing takes place on all levels; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Reiki is both powerful and gentle and can be used as an aid in treating any type of illness.

We are, animal, plant and humans, alike alive because of this Universal Life force that flows through us. Reiki works with this Life force to help with traditional Western and veterinary medicine.

The roots of Reiki healing lie in ancient origins. The technique is over 5000 years old and was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki was brought to and nurtured in the United States by Mrs. Hawayo Takata.

The principals of Reiki are good guidelines for all to follow:

Just for today, do not worry.
Just for today, do not anger.
Honor your parents, teachers and elders.
Earn your living honestly.
Show gratitude to every living thing.
Dr. Mikao Usui

This holistic alternative technique can recharge, realign, and restore balance to your body’s energy field and energy centers.

This technique does not use chemicals, manipulations or massage. Through Reiki therapy, people have a noted, marked elimination of anxiety, tension, stress, mental /emotional issues, as well as past life issues.

The benefits of Reiki therapy may allow people once again to enjoy good health and new levels of productivity in their lives. With Reiki therapy, people with high stress levels may achieve marked improvement medically, spiritually and emotionally.
